SNOW DAY!!!!!!

 

Andrew was out there, too, but he must have been rolling around in the snow somewhere else. Lindsay got all suited up, went out & saw the tractor, & promptly retreated to the CAR! She was, seriously, sitting INSIDE the car hiding from the tractor. I'll have to get another picture later when they're ALL out.

The dog went NUTS when they took her out. Looks like she's playing "King of the Hill" with Joey - goofy dog.

 

Norm doing what he does best with all the snow.....plowing the driveway & making a hill for the kids. I think he actually enjoys it because he almost always does at least one of the neighbors (sometimes 2!). Thank goodness for the Kubota!!!

 

Joey was pretty excited about a day off school!!!!!!

 

Lindsay didn't care so much about the day off school, but she couldn't wait to watch BA-CHOOLOO (Tom & Jerry)!!!!

 

I could have sat & watched this all day long. I LOVE LOVE LOVE snow!!!!!!! :)

Finally a picture with Norm!!! Marc went to a party that night, so we took Emily with us instead.

 

It was PACKED on this beautiful, WARM December evening....but it was worth it. The lights were all new this year & they were AMAZINGLY beautiful!!!

'Twas the NIght Before Christmas.....

 

 

Andrew begins the reading of the real Christmas story - one of our favorite traditions on Christmas morning. We all agreed that the story had so much more meaning this year. We spent more time talking & teaching about the true meaning of Christmas in the weeks leading up to December 25th & it truly enriched our celebration of Christ's birth.

 

Joey got to help read the Christmas story this year. He thought that was pretty special.

 

I hope I don't regret this one - MOON SAND!!!

 

Two big hits this year - the knotted blankets. I actually MADE them!!! :) Thanks to my sweet neighbor, Pam, for teaching me (& helping make Marc's). I have since made one for Norm, Emily, & have the material to make one for my sister. Maybe at some point I'll make one for myself - they are SO warm!!!!

Definitely one of Charlie's favorites --- a Paul Pierce shirt!!! He actually asked for this when he was 3 & was so excited to get it this year.

 

One of Joey's favorites - Kung Fu Panda. I still haven't watched it yet, but it looks hilarious.

 

Lindsay insisted that the new pajamas she opened were really for her baby. What a nut!

 

Two of Marc's favorites - the sweatshirt he's wearing & the shirt he had just opened. It was a Yankees year for him, that's for sure.

All decked out with her new vest, new purse (I wish I could type it out the way she says it.....it sounds something like pierce....so cute), and baby wrapped in her new blanket. Life is good at 2 years old!!! :)

 

Gotta love those Christmas cookies!!! This was just before opening gifts at Grandma's on Christmas Eve.

I'm not sure who was more excited about this gift - Grandma (the giver) or Lindsay (the receiver). As soon as Lindsay realized that it was for her baby, she went RIGHT to mothering her little one.
