WATER COUNTRY USA
This is a little backwards, but this was at the END of the day at Water Country. Another beautiful day in Williamsburg!!!
THIS is the infamous Lemon Drop. It doesn't look like much, but it's a BLAST! The best part is watching the big guys (like Norm & JD) "drop" into the water & completely drench everyone nearby. The expressions on their faces is almost as much fun as going down it yourself......which I got to do this year since I wasn't pregnant!!! :)
This was so cute. JD, CJ, & Norm were in line to go on the Rampage which is one of those slides that go STRAIGHT DOWN. Anyway, the older kids went on to the wave pool, but Joey & Riley had to wait with us. They sat so nicely just talking & waiting patiently. When the guys got up to the top, they watched & cheered enthusiastically.
As promised, this is the "piece of humanity" Norm captured on our trip to Water Country USA. Andrew actually spotted it first, after about 2 minutes in the park. I had to quickly whip out my camera so Norm could follow this guy to get a good picture. Sorry for those of you who don't appreciate this kind of stuff, but it's always good to see Norm having a good time.

HAPPY BABY
This was at the Yankee Candle Factory store during the Hickory Dickory Dock show, but this is also how Lindsay was almost all week long. Except when she's hungry or tired, we are blessed to have a happy little girl. And lots of love from her big brothers helps a little too - thanks Andrew!! :)

For those of you who know my husband well, you'll appreciate this next series of photos. This is another of Norm's favorite things to do at the beach. I think at every public beach (at least in America) there is one of these guys searching for buried treasure in the sand. Norm is always happy to "contribute" to their experience by dropping small change & watching them excitedly search when they hear the "hit" sound in their headphones. My favorite picture, though, is of Norm's happy face at his success.

Joey & Charlie just being silly boys. And don't even ask about what Charlie is wearing. That was Marc's doing - I think he was bored or something. And can you find the "Say No to Crack" in this picture??? Looking for good detective eyes out there!!!! I didn't even know I was taking this --- gross!!!!!

Charlie was fascinated by the machine that cleaned the RR tracks ---- actually I think Grandpa Russell was a little fascinated too. So they HAD to get a closer look. This was Charlie's favorite field we played on because the trains literally ran right beside us. He hears trains whistle from miles away now.
I just thought this was the sweetest thing. Lindsay was a little fussy while we waited between games, so Marc took her out of the stroller to go "hang out with the guys" for a little bit. I think they all enjoyed it as much as she did. As long as she's got her big brother's arms around her, it's fine with me.
The final baseball pictures from this season
Our team was struggling during this game & I happened to catch Marc looking thoughtful on the sidelines waiting for his turn to bat or get back on the field. I just thought it was kind of a cool picture.
